  • Owl Appliqués: Cut out owl appliqués from felt and sew or glue them onto the front of the jacket.
  • Bottom Hem and Cuffs: With 4mm needles and Color A, pick up and knit around the bottom edge of the jacket. Knit 6 (8, 10, 12, 14) rows in stocking stitch.
  • Buttonholes: Make 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) buttonholes on the right front piece, evenly spaced. K2, sl1, k2tog, pass slipped stitch over, p to end of row.
  • Buttons: Sew 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) buttons to the left front piece, opposite the buttonholes.
  • Colors: Choose contrasting colors for the body and sleeves to create a fun and eye-catching look.
  • Appliqués: Instead of owl appliqués, use other animal designs or add embroidery for personalization.
  • Hood: For a more traditional look, knit a hood separately and sew it onto the neckline.
  • Closure: Instead of buttons, use snaps or a zipper for easier fastening.

With its charming owl appliqués and cozy warmth, the Baby Owl Jacket is a perfect addition to your little one's wardrobe. Our Knitting Pattern Kp215 provides clear instructions for all sizes, making it a great project for knitters of all skill levels. Enjoy creating this special piece for your precious child.
